Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."
Matthew 19:14
AOIMF values every child that comes in through its doors as well as every child in the community. One of our values is to INSPIRE the next generation by passionately engaging them for Jesus Christ.
Throughout the year, AOIMF hosts a number of events that are centered specifically for our children such as
Children’s Day
Easter Celebration
Vacation Bible school
Christmas Eve Celebration.
The Children’s department also consists of
God’s Warriors
Steppers for Christ
Praise Dancers
These events both edify and entertain our children spiritually and physically, allowing them an opportunity to discover their God given gifts and talents, as well as a platform upon which these gifts and talents can be expressed.
What to Expect:
Every Sunday morning the Children’s Ministry offers grade-specific classes, which allow kids to bond with others within their age group for a more productive learning environment.
Boys and girls learn God’s truth and how it applies to their daily lives. The Children’s Ministry also aims to persuade children constructively in making wise decisions and actions with God in mind. Our teachers make use of creative techniques, which permit children to comprehend and to apply sound Biblical teachings at home, at church, at school, and at play. The Children’s Ministry at AOIMF gives students the chance to take their faith to the next level by helping connect the gap between faith, culture, and growing up.
Our Children's church accommodates children from infancy through high school:
- Lamb's Church (Infants to 23 months)
- Joshua's Army (2 - 5 years old)
- Young Eagles (Elementary School, 1st - 5th Grade)
- God's Warriors (Middle School, 6th to 8th Grade)
- SWAG (High School, 9th - 12th Grade)
Every Saturday afternoon from 1 - 3 pm the Children’s Ministry offers fellowship with teaching and activities, different from Sunday School. This takes place for the Young Eagles (1st - 5th Grade), God's Warriors (6th - 8th Grade), and SWAG (9th - 12th Grade). In this setting, the children are able to further bond within a Christian environment and are encouraged to grow in the Word and let their light shine in the world. Our Saturday groups also allow time for more discipleship and mentoring from their leaders.
Standard activities include:
- Playing games with a Christ-like attitude
- Listening to upbeat music from a Christian viewpoint
- Discussing current events with our remarkable Christian leaders
- Learning God’s Word and developing emotionally, socially, mentally and spiritually
One of our highlights is our children’s service that takes place one a month called “Save A Child” which takes place every first Friday of the month. Lastly, the Children’s Ministry offers all of this learning, sharing and excitement in a safe and sound environment, which permits parents to relax, to feel comfortable, and to focus as they receive a message from God from our wonderful Apostle.
Our Mission

* To help them learn the truth of His Word
* To encourage their growth within the body of Christ Believers
Our Vision
* That they will know Christ
* Understand His Word

To “train up children in the way that they should go, so that when they are old they will not depart from it” Proverbs 22:6
God's Warriors (Jr. High)
To instill within our children in 6th - 8th grade a healthy self-esteem as they discover who they are according to the Word of God.
God's Warriors ministry meets every Saturday for Bible study and discussions at 1pm at the church.
Our Vision
To instill within our children a passion for the things of God by making the Word of God come alive to them through rich Bible Study, crafts, and interactive games.
To show them that the Bible is not just a collection of ancient stories, but the characters are just like us today, with the same strengths and short comings. We can learn from their examples.
To teach them the true meaning of being a WARRIOR for CHRIST as demonstrated in the lives of many great Bible characters.
To stir within them a desire to touch lives for Christ through outreach trips to shelters, children's hospitals, etc.
To draw out their ministry interests and encourage them to develop them such as dance, choir, music, art etc.
